Jo Haanstra, CEO
With a passion for driving exponential growth, Jo helps build, scale, and grow companies. Having worked with a broad range of public and private sector organisations, Jo is a widely respected and influential leader in the NZ tech landscape.

Lauren Mellish, Chief Financial & Operations Officer
Lauren is a driven and dynamic finance and operations professional with a career spanning over a decade. Combining deep technical expertise as a Chartered Accountant, she brings a rigorous, analytical approach to everything she does. Lauren has a passion for risk management, business process improvement and system implementation, consistently delivering solutions that are both strategically sound and operationally effective.

Bradley Simpson, Partnership Director
Bradley has deep experience in SaaS companies, including Customer Success, Partnerships, Business Development, Education, and Customer Support. In his role as Partnership Director, Bradley is focussed on creating strong and mutually beneficial relationships with Atomic.io’s partners.


Jake Dale, Head of Engineering
Jake leads the engineering teams at Atomic. When he’s not architecting, coaching and engineering Jake is supporting and working with our customers to make the most of in-app messaging through Atomic.

Anna Curzon, Chairperson
Anna has a wealth of experience in the tech and financial services sector, with more than 18 years at ASB Bank in senior leadership roles across Internet Banking, Marketing, Innovation and the Contact Centre, as well as multiple executive roles at Xero.
She was appointed to the APEC Business Advisory Council (ABAC) by New Zealand’s Prime Minister in 2021, and today is also Chair of the ABAC Economic Integration Working Group. She has also served on the New Zealand Prime Minister’s Business Advisory Group from 2018-2020, and in 2017 the global SaaS report named Anna one of the Top 25 women leaders in SaaS.
Anna advocates for diversity within the tech industry and is passionate about encouraging women and other underrepresented groups into STEM opportunities.

Mark Hand, Non-executive director
Mark is a consultant advising organisations on the megatrends shaping the new reality for banks around the world, including digital transformation, Banking as a Service, generative AI, and delivering technology-centred experiences for customers. With more than 30 years in the financial services industry, he is dedicated to making a meaningful impact in the banking industry and beyond and leaving organisations better than he found them.

Kathryn Apte, Non-executive director
Kathryn Apte is a highly accomplished marketing and communications professional, with an impressive educational background and extensive experience working for notable companies across different sectors. Throughout her career, Kathryn has held numerous senior-level marketing roles, including Global Head of Content Marketing for YouTube, Global Head of Marketing and Communications for Medium.com, and Global Director of Product Marketing for Consumers and Creators at Twitter.

Alastair Grigg, Non-executive director
Alastair was a founding staff member at accounting software company Xero, where he was Chief Operating Officer, then GM of the Ventures and Financial Web division. Prior to Xero, Alastair was Chief Information Officer at Air NZ and has been involved in a number of other technology businesses and startups. Alastair is now a Director, investor and advisor to several technology companies.

Mark Vivian, Non-executive director
Mark has been a partner with Movac for the past 15 years. In addition to governance roles on portfolio company boards, he’s responsible for fundraising and investor relations. Mark has a particular strength in strategy development and tactical execution, commercialisation, relationship management, team building, and fundraising.
