Looking back at Q2 2025
We continued the momentum into the second quarter of 2025, delivering significant enhancements based on your valuable feedback and our commitment to expanding platform capabilities.
Here are 7 highlights we've picked to showcase in this quarter's release recap:
Add and format dynamic dates without scripts - You can now easily add dynamic dates to your card content—such as publication dates or expiration dates—and format them in various ways (like "1 day ago") without writing scripts.
iOS SwiftUI SDK now available - We’ve added drop-downs, date pickers, and file upload elements to our SwiftUI SDK, plus improved snooze functionality with date validation against card expiry, bringing the SwiftUI SDK to full parity with the legacy iOS version. Now’s a great time to plan your upgrade path.
JWT Atomic IDs now customisable - Developers can now define which field in the JSON Web Token (JWT) represents the “Atomic ID”, providing greater flexibility in user identification across iOS, Android, and Web SDKs.
Insights v2 is available to all - Our redesigned analytics experience moved from beta to general availability, featuring a faster, improved dashboard interface that delivers deeper insights into your Atomic flows from right inside the Workbench.
New analytics tiles - New Analytics tiles for tracking Action Flow initiations, and cards with videos played have been added to the Insights dashboard, giving you better visibility into how users are interacting.
Faster user-profile analytics processing - Significant improvements were made to platform reliability and speed when updating user tracking fields, including device information, SDK versions, and last-seen timestamps.
Spacing variables - Spacing variables have been introduced to the theme editor to allow for re-use of the same pixel measurements in size-based theme properties.

Beyond these highlighted features, there were many more enhancements and bug fixes throughout the quarter, which are detailed in our changelog. We've focused on three key areas this quarter: expanding card capabilities with new elements, strengthening our analytics and insights platform, and improving overall platform reliability and developer experience.
The introduction of file upload and other form elements on SwiftUI, and enhanced JWT customisation demonstrates our commitment to giving you more power and flexibility. Meanwhile, the general availability of Insights v2 represents a significant milestone in helping you better understand and optimise your engagement activities.
Quarter three is already shaping up to be another exciting period of innovation, with new features and capabilities designed around your feedback and our vision for the future of in-app messaging.
We can't wait to showcase what's coming next quarter 👋
