Pay-by-Bank, A Better Payment Experience
Bill payment inside an app should be the simplest thing in the world. In practice, it's one of the most friction-filled moments in digital banking and utilities that is full of redirects, third-party handoffs, and drop-offs that cost organisations real revenue and real customers. Atomic.io and Volley are changing that.

Pay-by-Bank, A Better Payment Experience
Paying a bill inside an app should be simple. For most organisations, it isn't. This is because the payment step requires a redirect, a third-party processor, and a friction-filled experience that kills completion rates. Today, Atomic.io and Volley are changing that.
The Atomic + Volley partnership enables organisations to deliver end-to-end bill payment experiences directly inside their own apps. No redirects. No manual account numbers. No drop-off.
How It Works
The workflow is straightforward by design:
A bill or payment notice is surfaced to the customer via Atomic's in-app messaging: at the right moment,in the right place, and with the right context. Importantly, in a trusted and secure environment.
The customer taps to pay and is connected securely to their bank via Volley's open banking rails.
The payment is authorised and completed directly from their bank account, without leaving the experience or entering a single account number.
This means fewer dropped payments, reduced call centre load, and a meaningful improvement in on-time payment rates.
